My children enjoy coming to cookie cutters. We’ve been coming in since my boys were little. I cut my leg badly this morning and needed several stitches. I didn’t want to be rude and cancel at the last minute, we had a 10 o’clock appointment, so I kept the appointment. On the 10 minute drive my leg was dripping blood, puddled into my shoe, puddled in my car. We arrived at cookie cutters and I got a wipe to clean the blood from the bottom of my shoe before we walked into your store. My sons rushed and grabbed me several bandaids and a tissue box and we walked in 3 minutes late. I was trying to be courteous and not enter your store covered in blood. 3 minutes late and I was charged a $5 late fee. I understand you have rules and need to keep your business running. This was an unplanned accident. I couldn’t contain the blood. I received several stitches. I am sadly disappointed. Selma loves coming to cookie cutters. Sadly, we will not be retuning.

Stylist did not wear a mask and told me she was not vaccinated. The CDC has lifted mask requirements for vaccinated people so she should have been wearing a mask. Even if she had been vaccinated, your salon should require stylists to wear masks in case one of them lies about their vaccination status or gets sick even though vaccinated. The clients that you serve are not eligible to get vaccinated so they are at higher risk of contracting the virus and therefore you have a obligation to keep a higher bar of safety in place for them. Not only is it dangerous but it's incredibly mean and rude for them to choose not to wear a mask around children.

Was not created at the door, the chair my son sat in was filthy. I let her know it was and all she did was a quick swab of it. Stylist just did not seem happy at all or in a good mood and it was bothersome. You are around kids be a little happier!!

The so-called hairstylist did a very lousy job on my son's hair I been going to cookie cutters since they open in Meridian and since I live in Boise I started going to the Boise one but my experience with the stylist was bad and I don't think I'll be returning to the Boise cookie cutters

I usally do not write reviews because we have always loved cookie cutters and have been going since our sons 1st hair cut. He had a cut today that was awful. The stylists never spoke to me or my son during his hair cut and it's extremely patchy. He loves getting hair cut and sit pretty still so I'm not sure how it got to be patchy. I had to asked 3 times to for her to cut peices of hair she completely missed cutting. I always give the stylists flexibility and just ask the hair to be shorten but I have never had his hair be so choppy. We are used to great and friendly service and this was very different experience.

I asked regarding the haircut style and also helps us in letting various option but they didn’t do anything much. Melanie was not very friendly and was least bothered. They didn’t even brush the hair after cut and also didn’t dry my daughter hair. It was very rude and impolite. Please make sure it never happens again and also help the customer with good care.
