I had asked for layers with face framing layers specifically a longer carpet bang. One side looks fine other than no carpet bang as the first layer goes down an inch below my chin. The other side look off. It’s not even with the other side and they are straight across cuts for layers. Not on an angle or blended in. Straight across cuts.

I have been going to Ravin for a few years now. Always had a great experience. I had to switch stylist due to my stylist changing locations. I went in for a root touch up, highlights, cut. I made the appointment online. Booked for 2 hours. When I got there, I was told there was no time for highlights as she was only blocked for 1 1/2 hours. I can live with that. Once the stylist started my hair, she started out with a small conversation. Then she was approached by the front desk person and they had a conversation about another client. Her name was said in front of me, what she was having done and they described her as having a big butt. Which I felt was not appropriate. No conversation for the remainder of the appointment. No massage during shampoo. At the end of the appointment I thanked the stylist and went to pay. I proceeded to get in the car with my Husband and he says "What the hell is all over your forehead?" I looked at it. I had color stained across my forehead and down to my ears. We went to have lunch and the waitress noticed the stain on my forehead. We were supposed to drive out to Treasure Island after the lunch and get ready for a Wedding. Instead I had to go home and rewash my hair and skin as it was on my neck as well. I did go back in the salon and asked to speak to the manager By the way, the manager saw me walk out the door, and actually commented on how nice my hair looked. The manager attempted to try and remove the hair product from my skin. That's it!! I did not request any type of refund, but I do feel I should have been offered some type of discount. Im not going to blast names. This is a young stylist. Just know you should never let any client walk out like that.

Great cut. However, very uncomfortable with the staff not wearing masks. Won’t be returning.

I normally see Katie for my haircuts but since she no longer works there the person who booked my appointment suggested Cassie. Cassie was super sweet and conversational, however my haircut was super uneven and I asked for layers and when I went home and dried my hair I didn't see any layers. I had to leave work early yesterday so that they could squeeze me in for her to fix it yesterday:( I have had some bad cuts in the past at other salons but this was my first not so great experience at Ravin.
