This was my son’s first haircut and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The woman Angelica who cut his hair was so gentle, patient and kind with him. Even though he cried a bit, she stayed calm and helped soothe him the whole time. She really made what could have been a stressful moment feel positive. His hair looks so much better and I’m so happy with the results. Thank you for making his first haircut a good experience!

During my son’s haircut, Cristi accidentally nicked the side of my son’s neck with the buzzer and it began bleeding. Accidents happen and I truly do not blame her for that. However, after she had already cut him, I politely asked if I could quickly see the buzzer that was used just to make sure it looked clean and not rusty so I could decide if I needed to have his pediatrician check the cut. Instead of understanding my concern as a parent, she became extremely defensive and began raising her voice at me in front of my 3-year-old and 1-year-old, saying “Why would you think I would ever use rusty buzzers?!” and shoving the cleaner toward me. I calmly explained multiple times that I wasn’t blaming her for the accident and was simply making sure my child was okay, but she continued escalating the situation. It became so uncomfortable that the other stylists working disappeared into the back room while this was happening. The accidental cut was not the issue — the way a simple parental concern was handled after my child was already injured was completely unacceptable.
