The place was not very clean. There was old hair from previous cuts all over the floor and chairs. I did not like that my daughter had to sit in other kids hair trimmings because they didn’t get cleaned up before.

There was a little boy crying in there and the girl cutting his hair was extremely slow. They need to be much faster in those situations and know how to handle them since this is a kids haircut place

I loved our stylist Sarah G. She was friendly and did a great job! I would recommend you consider the noise level in your salon and the over stimulation for not just for the kids--I was frankly a little startled by so much noise. They were blowing up ballons--super loud machine (perhaps do that before the customers come, as you have a stand for them and it only take a minute), hair dryers blowing hair off of hairs (consider using a hand broom and then blowing it off or better--wipe it down if needed), several TVs on very loud (consider asking parents to bring a tablet/phone) and ALL the kids are crying (perhaps give out suckers at the begining of a haircut vs at the end). I know kids are not going to like getting thier hair cut, but wow, it was soooo overly loud!

In the past, when I've scheduled multiple children at one time, they've each gone to different hair technicians and have been cared for at about the same time. This was what I expected when the technician said there was no problem scheduling all three of them. Instead, in turned out they were all scheduled to go back to back to one hair technician. So while I hoped to be there for about 30-40 minutes, we were there for over an hour. It would be very helpful if the person scheduling the haircuts was very clear about that expectation. Also, I got the sense that the hair technician wasn't terrible concerned about me being satisfied with the cuts my kids got. She seemed to be giving the "get 'em through quickly and hopefully they won't complain" kind of service. I left feeling a little bummed. I guess in the future, if we return, we should aim for Weston or Stephanie.

Joni (she wasn’t wearing a name tag but that is who the appt was with) was very rough and moved his head abruptly. If she had explained things to him or spoke to him at all he would have likely not been weary.

It was a clean facility. The thing that bothered me was that my son kept telling the girl cutting that it hurt. She was using the electric clippers at the time. She just kept telling him that haircuts don't hurt, but as I watched closer, each time she would start to go over his hair, the tips of the guard would hit him in the head and then slide over. He had a lot of red lines on his head and neck before it was all done. I've never seen him flinch during a haircut before. I really wish she would've listened to him. And part of me wonders if she was just going fast because she was leaving right after, because she did. Also, there are a few spots in his hair that are trouble spots. His hair grows in funny directions in the front and I mentioned that the cut looked strange over that area. I was really surprised that she didn't look at his hair beforehand the look for spots like that. So now that only way to make sure it doesn't look funny is to style it just a certain way. All and all, I started out the experience thinking it would be a good place to come for his haircuts, but I really didn't like watching him being so uncomfortable, and having to hide mistakes.
