I was told while booking everyone would be wearing masks. Not. A big deal to me but most kids weren’t. Stylists didn’t wash hands between cutting my two kids hair. Staff were wearing masks the wrong way. Stylists has face shields on. Stylist was friendly and great with kids.

I made an appointment for noon and it was almost 40 minutes later before my daughter was taken back. I was a little disappointed since the whole point of an appointment is to secure a time slot. It probably wouldn’t have been a big deal on any normal day but with the whole corona virus and it being the first day opening and the slide, balloons and suckers were off limits it made it hard to keep a toddler patiently waiting. Perhaps space the appointments further out or schedule less people to ensure people get in closer to their appointment slot. Other than these hiccups, I love this place and the workers are amazing!

It was a clean facility. The thing that bothered me was that my son kept telling the girl cutting that it hurt. She was using the electric clippers at the time. She just kept telling him that haircuts don't hurt, but as I watched closer, each time she would start to go over his hair, the tips of the guard would hit him in the head and then slide over. He had a lot of red lines on his head and neck before it was all done. I've never seen him flinch during a haircut before. I really wish she would've listened to him. And part of me wonders if she was just going fast because she was leaving right after, because she did. Also, there are a few spots in his hair that are trouble spots. His hair grows in funny directions in the front and I mentioned that the cut looked strange over that area. I was really surprised that she didn't look at his hair beforehand the look for spots like that. So now that only way to make sure it doesn't look funny is to style it just a certain way. All and all, I started out the experience thinking it would be a good place to come for his haircuts, but I really didn't like watching him being so uncomfortable, and having to hide mistakes.

We love Alexis at Cookie Cutters in Lehi. She is so patient and does a great job! And my boys LOVE the sucker and balloon at the end and going down the slide a few times :)

Madison is awesome! My little guy is very particular about his haircuts, and he was so happy with what Madison did. She was quick and did such a good job.
