I normally love coming here. I have two boys ages 2 & 1 who freak out every time they get their haircuts. Usually the staff is friendly and super understanding. This last time I visited was not the best experience, to say the least. My youngest got his haircut done by Madi and she was fantastic. She worked calmly & quickly, and my little guy’s hair turned out great. My oldest had his hair cut by Alexis. She was somewhat snarky to begin with, but her lack of patience seemed to get worse as the time went on. My son cried at first, but seemed to calm down when the TV was turned on for distraction. When the TV would pause (which it did multiple times) he would start freaking out again. At one point Alexis walked in front of the TV, and when my son started panicking her response was “Okay crazy”.. I didn’t say anything at the time, because she had hair cutting clippers to my sons head and I didn’t want her to mess up his hair, & then when she finished she quickly moved on without saying a word. It is never okay to call a child crazy. If children freaking out is too stressful for you then you should probably find a different job. I’ve never seen such a lack of professionalism. As of right now I probably wouldn’t recommend the Cookie Cutters Lehi location to anyone, especially if they have a child who is scared to get their haircut. I’m not even sure if I’m going to return, especially if Alexis is working. No one deserves to witness their child being treated that way and feel like there’s not much they can do about it.

Amannda did a great job with our one year old and being patient with him as he was very nervous about getting his haircut. She did a nice job which was impressive because he was moving around a lot. I appreciated how kind and understanding she was and she did not make us feel bad about him crying the whole time. She was quick but also did a good job. I was not impressed with the overall service though. We made an appointment online and we didn’t get taken back until 25 minutes past our appointment time, even though we arrived on time. For me as a parent of a young child, I strategically plan appointment times around nap time and meal times so it was hard to make a one year old sit and wait for 25 minutes extra. The salon also smelled a little off and there was a lot of discarded hair on the floor that was not cleaned up. Also, the address I received in my confirmation email was not accurate. They didn’t include the “east” in the address and so when I clicked on the address in my confirmation email it directed me to West Main Street instead of east Main Street.

We’ve gotten Maddie every time we go and she does such a great job with my wiggly toddler.

I had appointments for my 2 boys and realized I had forgotten my wallet. The owner said it was no problem and that I could just call in and pay when I got home! He did a great job cutting my boys hair including my 10 month old! I was so impressed with how I was treated thank you!!

Such a fun place to have a kid’s haircut! Our hairstylist was wonderful and did an excellent job being gentle and firm with a squirmy child. Worth the money for sure! The only inconvenience was that we waited 10-15 minutes past our appointment time to start our haircut. I understand this can occasionally happen for various reasons, but I’m hoping it doesn’t in the future because we’d love to return!
