I made an appointment for noon and it was almost 40 minutes later before my daughter was taken back. I was a little disappointed since the whole point of an appointment is to secure a time slot. It probably wouldn’t have been a big deal on any normal day but with the whole corona virus and it being the first day opening and the slide, balloons and suckers were off limits it made it hard to keep a toddler patiently waiting. Perhaps space the appointments further out or schedule less people to ensure people get in closer to their appointment slot. Other than these hiccups, I love this place and the workers are amazing!

I normally love coming here. I have two boys ages 2 & 1 who freak out every time they get their haircuts. Usually the staff is friendly and super understanding. This last time I visited was not the best experience, to say the least. My youngest got his haircut done by Madi and she was fantastic. She worked calmly & quickly, and my little guy’s hair turned out great. My oldest had his hair cut by Alexis. She was somewhat snarky to begin with, but her lack of patience seemed to get worse as the time went on. My son cried at first, but seemed to calm down when the TV was turned on for distraction. When the TV would pause (which it did multiple times) he would start freaking out again. At one point Alexis walked in front of the TV, and when my son started panicking her response was “Okay crazy”.. I didn’t say anything at the time, because she had hair cutting clippers to my sons head and I didn’t want her to mess up his hair, & then when she finished she quickly moved on without saying a word. It is never okay to call a child crazy. If children freaking out is too stressful for you then you should probably find a different job. I’ve never seen such a lack of professionalism. As of right now I probably wouldn’t recommend the Cookie Cutters Lehi location to anyone, especially if they have a child who is scared to get their haircut. I’m not even sure if I’m going to return, especially if Alexis is working. No one deserves to witness their child being treated that way and feel like there’s not much they can do about it.

We’ve gotten Maddie every time we go and she does such a great job with my wiggly toddler.

I had appointments for my 2 boys and realized I had forgotten my wallet. The owner said it was no problem and that I could just call in and pay when I got home! He did a great job cutting my boys hair including my 10 month old! I was so impressed with how I was treated thank you!!
