The service was okay however they seemed overbooked and it took an hour after my appointment start time for my 2 year olds hair to be cut. So I had to wait with a hard to handle 2 year old for over an hour at a busy salon. That was very stressful. I won’t be returning.

I typically have a very positive/typical experience going in. The standard of the cuts vary by a little, but I always feel like my son leaves with a good haircut. This particular cut I felt like the person helping was new or just maybe doesn’t have a lot of experience. It took longer than normal and when we left my son’s hair was wet so I couldn’t really tell what the cut looked like. When we got home I saw the two sides were not even and not blended and overall it just doesn’t look very good. I was going to go back to have it fixed but my son doesn’t love getting his haircut so he didn’t want to go back in. I also didn’t want to hurt the hairdressers feelings because I felt like it needed to be redone by someone else with more experience.

I normally love coming here. I have two boys ages 2 & 1 who freak out every time they get their haircuts. Usually the staff is friendly and super understanding. This last time I visited was not the best experience, to say the least. My youngest got his haircut done by Madi and she was fantastic. She worked calmly & quickly, and my little guy’s hair turned out great. My oldest had his hair cut by Alexis. She was somewhat snarky to begin with, but her lack of patience seemed to get worse as the time went on. My son cried at first, but seemed to calm down when the TV was turned on for distraction. When the TV would pause (which it did multiple times) he would start freaking out again. At one point Alexis walked in front of the TV, and when my son started panicking her response was “Okay crazy”.. I didn’t say anything at the time, because she had hair cutting clippers to my sons head and I didn’t want her to mess up his hair, & then when she finished she quickly moved on without saying a word. It is never okay to call a child crazy. If children freaking out is too stressful for you then you should probably find a different job. I’ve never seen such a lack of professionalism. As of right now I probably wouldn’t recommend the Cookie Cutters Lehi location to anyone, especially if they have a child who is scared to get their haircut. I’m not even sure if I’m going to return, especially if Alexis is working. No one deserves to witness their child being treated that way and feel like there’s not much they can do about it.

Front desk receptionists/managers were not friendly. For a kid's place, they did not have patience for me being there with my two small children. Chairs for kids to sit in were filthy and covered in hair.

It seems like this place is under new management. I was very disappointed. The lady chopped at least three inches off my daughter’s hair and it’s not even straight. We will not be coming back.

I made an appointment and then had to wait a half hour while people who walked in went before me. Why even make an appointment? Also, one girl was mad and kind of rough with my son and the other who did my younger son didn't seem confident or know what she was doing. My younger sons hair didn't look they way I told her at all and even he said that it wasn't good... I've been here many times but I doubt I will be back.
