I wish someone had told us that in spite of our appointment at a specific time we'd be waiting a half hour. We would have come back later instead of adding to the chaos of the waiting area. It was an extraordinarily busy day, and that was fine - it happens. But if we had known we would have come back when you were ready. :) That said, my kids are always miraculously able to sit still during a haircut, excited to go, and I love getting some great advice about styling and hair care. We love coming.

Sons first haircut so I was nervous and didn’t really know what I wanted. The stylist did a great job helping me figure that out and gave my son an adorable haircut. However, we waited a long time past our appointment time, and then the manager was rushing our stylist which I didn’t appreciate.

I love that this place focuses on helping kids feel comfortable. With that in mind, I just wanted to offer a couple suggestions about our experience today. It felt that we were kind of rushed through the haircut. This was probably because our appointment was near the end of the workday. I liked how last time the stylist asked which show my kid would like while his hair was cut. This time the stylist just put on Cocomelon. It was ok, but my kid has never seen it and wasn't distracted by it. I think he would have been less nervous if it was Cars or another show he is familiar with. I think he could sense how rushed the haircut was as well, and he just kind of withdrew and got nervous, but he still did ok, and the haircut was really well done. We will keep coming back here, because I think this was just a case of having an appointment later in the day, and we really do enjoy the kid friendly atmosphere.

We had an appointment, so we didn't have to wait very long. It seemed like they had been busy all day, because there was a lot of hair everywhere, on the front mat, on the slide, all over the floor.

I took my 8 month old and 11 year old in to get haircuts. I loved the haircut on my 8 month old, but for my 11 year old, I asked for a number 1 on the sides and a fingercut on the top. The hairstylist just used clippers on the top and then texturing scissors (which I can do at home). So my 11 year olds hair cut did not look as good as I wanted it to. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great either, especially for the price. I would take my baby back, but I don't think I would take my older son back.
