Hello - I hate to complain because I genuinely do like the people/environment at Men’s Salon. I’ve been a regular customer for quite a few years. It seems like over the past year, the quality of the haircuts I receive are not worth the money. I just got a haircut today and I am on my way to Sports Clips to get it corrected. My main complaints are: 1. My hair is never blended correctly. This is the third or fourth time I’ve had to go somewhere else and get my hair properly blended after a haircut at Men’s Salom. When I do get it corrected, the people who correct it cannot believe that they let me leave Men’s Salon without properly blending it 2. There is not a single haircut I’ve gotten that is worth $35-$45. The pricing model is inconsistent and way expensive, especially when I leave and have to immediately pay someone to correct the he haircut 3. I specifically ask for advice for styling my hair and I never receive any feedback. I make it clear right at the very beginning that I want someone to help me find a style that looks good on me. I never get any feedback, more of a “deer in headlights” look, or sometimes even seems like they’re annoyed that I’m asking for help to tell me what looks good 4. Is there anyone there who isn’t fresh out of hair school? This is part of the problem with the price - I can go places where people have years and years of experience and the service is cheaper and better. Instead, I unknowingly pay twice as much to someone who does not have the same experience or understanding Unfortunately, I’ve gotten too many bad haircuts at Men’s Salon that I will not be back. Again, the people are friendly and the environment is “cool”, but I’m not paying twice as much for a haircut to meet friendly people and sit in a nice area - I pay that much because I expect the quality to be much higher than other places I can go
