We told the stylist that my son has sensitivities to loud noises and to please not use the clippers. She ultimately said she wouldn't, but was pretty insistent on trying. She brought it up several times and was a little pushy about it.

I really like this place. Except for one thing, the lady that cut my son’s hair smelled like cigarettes. When we left my son was telling me he did not like the smell. Do not think it is appropriate especially when working with children.

Very good experience at Cookie Cutters! My daughters were very pleased with their cuts, as was I (their mama). And I LOVE that I could get a great cut at the same time! We are in this area temporarily , but if we find ourselves in the beach cities and in need of a cut, we will definitely be back! And I will recommend this shop to our friends. Thank you!

Sharon was incredibly helpful, extremely professional, and very customer service oriented. She educated me on her trimming techniques, and the best detangling product. She was fantastic with my daughter, did a fantastic job with her haircut too. My daughter has long, thick blonde hair that goes past her bum. Her hair is her signature, and everyone loves it including her. We have had it trimmed before, but by her grandma who is 3000 miles away and a hair stylist. My daughter was nervous, and I definitely was too. This was our first time getting her hair trimmed by a stranger in a salon, and I was SO PLEASED with how Sharon did. Personally, I felt the salon was way too small for the influx of customers, nowhere for kids to sit with their kids at the booth, and not enough seating in the lobby area. There was another stylist there that looked very unkempt and unprofessional, also seemed extremely unorganized and all over the place. I also had an issue with the manager toward the end of my daughters haircut. He was staring negatively at Sharon with his arms crossed, trying to get her to rush my daughter's haircut so that they could quickly get the next kid in. Sharon quickly reassured me not to worry though, because she would take her time and do the best haircut for my daughter. I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with Sharon while she cut my daughters hair, and thoroughly enjoyed the precision and time she took guiding me through the process. Overall, my experience with Sharon was fantastic and it outshines the negative aspects of the salon. I am very pleased with my daughter's haircut, and Sharon's outstanding professionalism.

I asked Sandra not to use the clippers, to use scissors and she only used clippers. Next time I’ll just go back to the previous lady.
