The salon looked and felt dirty which was noticeable upon our first entry. The play area did not appear to have been cleaned in months, if at all which is concerning during a time where illness runs rampant. The stylists were curt and not friendly at all with our child when he was frightened for his first hair cut. They were abrupt and forceful and made threats to our child that he would be in trouble and that Santa wouldn’t come visit if he didn’t comply which only made him even more upset. That is not how we run our household or speak to our children and it was upsetting for someone else to do so. This was not the experience we anticipated at a salon that specializes in child hair cuts. If I knew this was what we would encounter then we could have gone anywhere. I imagine it will be awhile before we can try to bring our child for a haircut again.
