Service was unprofessional, attempted to force child into the car chair (used force to hold him down and try to strap in stating “all kids cry at first”). Child was scared and just needed more time and easing into the situation but this forcefulness scared him more. The haircut itself was terrible and uneven. When confronted about this, the stylist said it is because of his head shape or hair colic- which does not explain an uneven, lopsided, choppy cut. when asked to try to correct this, stylist was extremely defensive and disagreed about the need to fix it (we just asked for a simple touch up of one area). She finally agreed and instead of touching up the area pointed out, she chopped off another chunk and made it worse. Instead of taking time and care to cut the hair well, she generally just chopped away haphazardly and then applied a significant amount of hair gel/ leave in conditioner to push all the hair down and make it look presentable. When we got home and washed the hair product out, you could really tell how awful and careless the cut was. We will not be back and will never recommend this place to anyone.

Haircut was crooked, she put in a bow so we didn’t notice it until home. Received attitude when asked to fix it and she blamed our kid

My son’s haircut is awful. I could cut his hair better and I’m not a hairstylist/barber. Extremely uneven cut all around and I said not to touch front bang which she did and turned out horribly uneven. $27+ for a toddler haircut and a horrible one at that, is a scam. My husband’s cut at a professional salon is the same price with great results. Patty was very nice and pleasant, but she needs to work on her skills. My son sat very still for his haircut especially for his first haircut at a salon, so there shouldn’t be a reason for an uneven cut. Very disappointed andnow calling a friend who is not a hairsylist to fix his botched haircut. Everyone who has seen my son has pointed out the bad cut and advised that I get a refund. Will not be returning nor will I recommend Patty at Cookie Cutters. Sorry! Happy to send video/pic of the haircut but rather not upload to this review.

My experience with my son was poor. First, I think the salon needs training on how to cut hair for kids with Autism who are sensitive to noise/sound,and especially when its has been written in the comments prior to the scheduled appointment. Secondly,I had an appointment at a certain time. Another lady was there who got her dates mixed up. Same time with my appointment and booked with same lady I booked but hers was at a different day. The lady cutting the hair decided to take care of the customer daughters first which is not a problem if she had ask me first if it was ok. I would have said yes but the fact it was done without permission or not even acknowledgement of our appointment time. I think that was wrong.

The person who cut my sons hair, Patty, may not have been having a great day, usually she is pleasant, today not so much, kept telling my son the do certain things, but not in a nice friendly tone. Seemed bothered by something. During checkout, I was asked if I wanted to leave a tip, and I did, but then I was asked you know the cost of the haircut is $27 right, I felt judged by the tip I left. But I didn't even have a great experience.
