I got the email about the new protocols due to COVID 19. My appt was at 3 I checked in at 251. I never heard anything back. There were about 3 families just standing outside in the cold and drizzle. I sent his name and time again at 314. Got the message to come to the door. The girl asked all the questions and took our temps. Then told me I had to wait out here until my stylist was ready. I had my 3 year old and my two month old. I think it’s ridiculous to expect people to stay outside non the cold and drizzling rain w their kids because the salon overbooked. There was no way social distancing was happening because it was so packed inside.

I took my son to the West Chester Cookie Cutters for his first haircut. He is 2 and does not like people touching his ears or neck area (which is why I can't cut his hair at home on my own). Summer was his hairdresser and she was amazing. She was very patient with my son through the whole experience even though he was crying and squirming the whole time. She gave him an adorable cut and was very nice! I will say the woman behind the front desk wasn't very friendly and made me seem like we annoyed her by being there. Thank goodness we had Summer to cut my son's hair or I probably wouldn't go back to that location. Otherwise, it was a nice experience and I will be back.
