After getting jacks first haircut here, I was super happy with the experience and cut so I booked here again. Unfortunately, my experience this time was not the same. Our stylist was much less patient wanting me to hold his arms down instead of just going with his movements like the first stylist. She seemed irritated when I didn’t really want to. Also, she asked if I wanted the clippers this time, and I said no because he still has baby curly hair. She still got out the clippers and when I said no I don’t want it buzzed, she said no just around the ears and buzzed his hair anyways!!! Of course as soon as she put it to his head he moved and now he has a funny mark right next to his ear for his one year old pics tomorrow!! I wish there was a way to pick your stylist.

I’ve been to your place in the past and it has really gone down unfortunately. We arrived for our scheduled appt 15 minutes early so we knew we had to wait. It was extremely busy. People standing everywhere. We didn’t have to wait long which was good. My sons stylist must have been on break but it looked like she has just rolled out of bed. Look very grouchy and didn’t want to be there. Did not say one word to him the whole cut and barely spoke to me. She did do an ok cut so I suppose I can look past all the other things. My son was older thankfully or her persona would have scared him. My daughter was getting her first cut ever. I paid for the keepsake package. I didn’t get the photo frame or the cute certificate. We got a barrette and a small baggie of hair. I could have done that myself and saved the money. Her stylist was nice and did a good job. So I am just upset at the wasted money and time. We drove 24 miles to your location because of past experiences and the keepsake package. Which we didn’t receive in whole. Now your staff at the front were young teens but they really need to learn customer service skills. They would allow people to stand and wait while they talked. They were not friendly at all. I sat right by them and I head them say to each other “if she talks to me one more time I’ll flip” with a horrible facial expression. They were talking about one of their own co workers who approached with something to say. I saw one of the stylist cut hair in the lobby!! The LOBBY! How unsanitary. It looked like a touch up but really? It wouldn’t take long to put the child in a chair and do it right. This place used to be such a fun experience complete with balloons and suckers. I know with Covid the toys and slides are gone. But this location needs updated (many cars are torn up and look old and dirty) and staff retrained. I won’t be driving the 40+minutes any longer.

My appointment felt very rushed, I left because I felt pressured to and did not realize that I wasn’t fully satisfied with my daughters haircut until we got home.

I was not given the person I booked my appointment with even though she was in. I was given a different hair dresser who had no patience for my 3yr old who hates getting his hair cut. I was not asked if I was okay with being seen by someone else. She was gripping his head so tight, that my son was trying to pry her fingers off of him. I typically have a good experience at this salon but today was not one of those days. We will be waiting until Megan is better before we go back.

The receptionist was far from welcoming or inviting. After I signed in, gave her my son's name, and sat down she shouted his name in the empty salon. It was rude and off putting. I could understand if there were many children or if it was quite loud but I don't understand why she couldn't have looked at me and nicely called his name. As he was the only child there, it shouldn't have been difficult to remember who we were. The stylist didn't introduce herself but she was very patient with my son and asked him, not me, what he wanted to watch. I thought that was very personable and caring for his experience.

My sons haircut looks horrible. We have been having our sons hair cut for at least a year and have never had an issue. I don't know if it was a new stylist but it was very uneven and looks horrible. We have always come back because of the great service, but this is really upsetting. I was so embarrassed that I had to walk out so I would not cry it was so bad. The sad part about it is that the person cutting his hair didn't even say anything about it. Was she waiting for us to say how bad it was? Really rethinking if I should take the boys back again.
