This was by far the worst experience I’ve had at this store & I’ve been coming several times in the last few years with my daughters. It was all because of the hair dresser, Misty G., who made the experience totally unprofessional. She kept yawning & looking off uninterested. Then, while she was cutting my daughter’s hair, she would stoop & watch the movie which is meant for the child to watch, not the hair stylist. And when I asked for layers in my daughter’s hair, she haphazardly picked up pieces & just chopped at them. And when we were done, she did not brush it or style it in a nice way which all the other 3 stylists I have worked with have done until I asked her to. I will be coming back but I will never work with her again.

Since this place has a massive issue running on time (even though it is appt only!), I scheduled 9AM - first of the day. Upon arrival I see the person I booked was double booked for 9AM. They started to take the first person and the only reason I was taken 8 minutes later is because that kid was having a meltdown. I had a second appt for 9:15 but the lady I booked with took the original kid, I received a different person. What is crazy is you could hear the desk people discussing all the booking issues, but no one communicates that to the client. I think honesty goes a long way and just letting us know what we can expect / how long we will wait with the kids. I leave a review every time and this place still continues to just absolutely suck.

I hate leaving such a bad review because normally we love it at Cookie Cutters, but the woman who cut my sons hair was awful. I’ve watched her rush through every haircut she does and that’s exactly what she did with my son. She has zero patience and has a horrible attitude. My son is finally comfortable getting haircuts after years of tantrums and hating all of it and today he cried because she was hurting him and he told her multiple times that she was hurting him and she continued. He now has a knick on his ear from where she was hurting him. I don’t ever want her to cut my child’s hair again.

The stylist and kids environment were great. However the front desk was poorly managed. I waited over 20 minutes to pay with only 2 people in front of me. When I got to the front of the line, I was told the credit card machine was down and I needed to leave to go get cash. When I came back, I waited around 10 more minutes for the front desk to acknowledge me so I could pay. The front desk worker was busy answering calls, talking to stylists and trying to determine which stylist was responsible for which client. Maybe they were short staffed today, but it just seemed very disorganized and chaotic.

Got called back 12 minutes later for appointment and salon wasn’t busy at all. This is becoming a trend, as we have been called back later and later the last several appointments. I’m not sure there is value in continuing to make appointments to visit the salon, if this is how we are going to be treated. Maybe allow more time for appointments, so you don’t get so easily behind. Or if someone is late don’t allow to get haircut.

The lady that cut my sons hair does not know how to fade , and we asked her to cut the top a little shorter and she barely cut anything off and didn’t like his bangs up. To me it seemed she didn’t give a fuck about her job.
