Booked an appointment with a specific stylist but then we were seated with a different stylist. She did a very quick haircut that isn’t bad necessarily but didn’t feel as thorough as we’ve had in the past.

Not impressed again. I’ve noticed boys haircuts look very nice and professional but for the second time, my daughter left with bangs that looked like an 8 yr old had cut them. I should’ve said something before we left but I was frustrated. I had agreed with the stylist that bangs above the eyebrow would be great…but when I looked she had cut them about an inch above her eyebrow. Too short for me to fix at home. They were crooked and honestly looked like someone just cut straight across. My mom was also there and said the Stylist was flat and not good with kids. She noticed that she didn’t seem to enjoy her job and barely acknowledged the tip that my daughter handed her. My kids love the atmosphere but I honestly can’t return. I could do a better job at home and I’m definitely not even that great with hair. The other stylist was nice and fun and did a great job. It’s not every stylist that has been horrible but I have had one or two that have ruined the experience for me.

We have been to one other Cookie Cutters back in our hometown, and so the bar was set very high. Unfortunately, this location was a zoo, and was not enforcing any COVID protocols to help mitigate the risk for the little kids in there. Luckily, we asked our person to wear a mask, which she did, but there were way too many people inside and way too many people without masks. Would not recommend going back.

The person who cut our son's hair was a bit apathetic. Our son was having a hard time and she didn't try to help the situation. Hair was falling all over his eyes and mouth further upsetting him and she didn't bother to clean his face up. I asked her to please clean his face and she just rubbed his face with a towel not really attempting to clean him. It was just really upsetting and I thought about not even tiping her.

I am usually very pleased with Cookie Cutters but was disappointed with the 25 minute wait, despite having and appointment, and the poor COVID prevention practices. None of the staff was masked. The CDC recommends masking in high areas of transmission and since we are in a COVID surge, everyone should be masked. I will not be returning to this salon for this reason, as my toddlers are not great at wearing masks, thus putting them at risk since employees are unmasked.

Would like the salon to space out appointments because of the current covid health hazard situation. There were atleast 3-4 families waiting at any given time with atleast 4-5 kids along with parents crowding the salon which is very unethical considering how many young children are not vaccinated and are so vulnerable to this disease.
