Some of the hairstylists don't know how to cut hair and don't have professional judgement either. I learned that by talking to one of them. I asked one hairstylist for a recommendation on a boy's haircut and she could not even provide an answer for me. She turned the question around and asked me what I wanted. That is frustrating.

I booked an appointment for my son and the lady he was booked for got him to the chair only at 6:15! She apologize and explain that some other lady just got her son to the chair when she was calling our name but not only that we didn’t hear anything, I think she could at least ask us something after being there for more then 35 min. Anyway, she was very professional when it comes to my son haircut and my son loves the haircut and she was very nice overall I just wish they will pay closer attention to appointments booked and not letting clients waiting 45 min to an haircut when we booked a time in advance.

Would be nice if the stylists actually put notes in my son's account like they told me 3 times they would do. Had to go to someone new again b/c the previous person left. I don't remember how to tell one stylist to another what the last one did 2 months ago. I was not "in love" with the cut this last time by any means the stylist was more interested in doing what she wanted to do rather then what I had asked for. I was very happy my first 3 visits, was not thrilled this last visit. The other girl (guessing a front desk person - was clueless as to what was going on or even how to check us out) I believe in 2nd chances - so we will give it one more try. I won't be telling my friends about this place, not yet. As Friday's experience was disappointing to say the least. Stylist is not a "kid friendly" person at all not sure why she I working with kids.

We have been going to Cookie Cutters for years now and we love it! Today we could not believe how rude the woman was who cut my son’s hair. Every time he goes in lately, he asks for a lightening bolt to be buzzed into his hair. We asked her if she could do that. She just said “no”. My son’s disposition completely changed- he didn’t say anything but everyone could tell he was upset. She knew I was upset after that and was attempting small talk. Finally I suggested that she might ask one of the other stylists if they could do the design. She said “Maybe, if they have time.”. Of course, in Cookie Cutter’s style of customer service, someone agreed right away and came over to help. Our stylist really should have facilitated that, not me. Totally disappointed in her attitude and level of customer service. Will never have her cut my children’s hair again.
