At Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids children get to enjoy more than the typical salon booster seat. They get to choose their favorite fantasy car to sit in during their haircut and each station has a wide selection of kids’ shows and games. If this doesn’t make their haircut experience happy, our stylists are equipped with bubbles, suckers and balloons to put your child at ease through the entire haircut experience.


We strive to provide a caring environment where we put both the child and the parent at ease.  Our stylists are skilled in cutting hair for all children, and provide that extra special touch for those with special needs. Not all children like to get their haircut, we are aware of this struggle and do all we can to make the experience one that they will want to have again.

The staff was calm and engaging with all the children. The environment was clean and staff was masked. Sanitizer and wipes were available for public use. Ely was patient with my little one,and accommodated his needs. Haircut looks awesome and my baby stayed calm, thanks to her professionalism and sweet demeanor.I will continue bringing my baby here and recommend Cookie Cutters in Scottsdale. It was a great experience!

This place is phenomenal for children. They are quick and super friendly with the little ones. There are fun vehicles to sit in while getting a haircut. For an added distraction, there are individual TV's for the kids. The stylists are so fast and awesome at what they do, the tv is just a bonus. Ely is fantastic and has been cutting my 2 1/2 year old son's hair from his first haircut to now.

This was our first visit and we’ll definitely be coming back! The salon was super clean, the hairdressers were very gentle with kids’ hair, and my girls all left really happy with the experience and their cuts!

I felt like the safer guidelines were great but I was disappointed a few parents of other kids were not wearing masks and I was hoping that would be a bit more enforced.

Thank you for coming in and noticing our high standard of cleanliness and protocol during these changing times. We try to educate everyone before their appointments that our stylists are required to wear masks but we let families make their own choice as to the use of masks which are readily available in our facility. We hope you understand that we do not police this and leave it up to families to be good citizens. If you would like on your next visit, we can schedule you in during a slower time when there would be less families in the salon.

I brought in my boys to get rid of their quarantine hair. The environment and the cleanliness were great. It's just too bad that the reason I came was for haircuts and those were not great. One boy's hair is crooked in front, another is crooked in back and all three are shorter than what I wanted. At least it's hair and grows back again.
