At Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids children get to enjoy more than the typical salon booster seat. They get to choose their favorite fantasy car to sit in during their haircut and each station has a wide selection of kids’ shows and games. If this doesn’t make their haircut experience happy, our stylists are equipped with bubbles, suckers and balloons to put your child at ease through the entire haircut experience.


We strive to provide a caring environment where we put both the child and the parent at ease.  Our stylists are skilled in cutting hair for all children, and provide that extra special touch for those with special needs. Not all children like to get their haircut, we are aware of this struggle and do all we can to make the experience one that they will want to have again.

We had an appointment scheduled with a different person (the appointment was scheduled with Lauren). Lauren was cutting another child's hair although we had a 9:00 appointment (first appointment of the day?). There was no mention of the change or the reason. We were fine with the service that was provided by Erin, just a little surprised/stunned that there was no mention. Separately, the product that was provided to my son's hair had tree nuts (almond oil). My son has a tree nut allergy.

Haircut was great. Need to work on communication if appointments are running late. If I did not approach the desk my 3 year old would have had to wait an hour after his appointment for his haircut.

The experience is overall pretty good. Loved our stylist. VERY patient and understanding of how working with a toddler can be. The environment was inviting for kids and very clean. My only small complaint was the waiting time for the “my first haircut” certificate. While the certificate is very cute and appreciated— the printing of it took forever and they were training a new person on this printing process. As phone calls came in and people checked out — customer service took a back seat to the “training process” of teaching a new person what to Click to print a darn piece of paper. Waited an extra 15 mins after I had already paid just to get this silly thing because instead of JUST PRINTING IT, I had to wait so someone could be shown “how to do it.” — Slightly ridiculous, but I will overlook it and give it a second try. Other than that — great experience.

When we arrived we were told that they were running 15 minutes behind schedule. It would be nice if someone called ahead of time to inform you that they are running behind schedule.
