At Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids children get to enjoy more than the typical salon booster seat. They get to choose their favorite fantasy car to sit in during their haircut and each station has a wide selection of kids’ shows and games. If this doesn’t make their haircut experience happy, our stylists are equipped with bubbles, suckers and balloons to put your child at ease through the entire haircut experience.


We strive to provide a caring environment where we put both the child and the parent at ease.  Our stylists are skilled in cutting hair for all children, and provide that extra special touch for those with special needs. Not all children like to get their haircut, we are aware of this struggle and do all we can to make the experience one that they will want to have again.

During our appointment an employee with purple hair became upset about her check and was yelling and swearing around the store for about 5 minutes. This employee was not cutting my son’s hair and the rest of the staff attempted to calm her and apologized to us, the customers, but my 6 year old daughter was very upset. We’ve only been in twice and I get this is not a typical experience, but was a bit off putting and wanted you to be aware.

Thank you and we are very aware. This person was not upset about their check but for the fact that she was asked to leave for the day and come back when her attitude approved as we strive for a very positive experience from the time a person walks in the door. As such she does not work for us any longer and we are sorry for the unfortunate and isolated encounter.

They were running alittle behind which ok but that meant I got a different lady than I usually get and although she was professionally nice I wasn’t as happy with her as I was with the other ladies I’ve gotten . She was very quick but I think she was sort of scaring my son. I know they were running behind but I’d rather wait and take it slow.

We had an appointment scheduled with a different person (the appointment was scheduled with Lauren). Lauren was cutting another child's hair although we had a 9:00 appointment (first appointment of the day?). There was no mention of the change or the reason. We were fine with the service that was provided by Erin, just a little surprised/stunned that there was no mention. Separately, the product that was provided to my son's hair had tree nuts (almond oil). My son has a tree nut allergy.

Haircut was great. Need to work on communication if appointments are running late. If I did not approach the desk my 3 year old would have had to wait an hour after his appointment for his haircut.
