At Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids children get to enjoy more than the typical salon booster seat. They get to choose their favorite fantasy car to sit in during their haircut and each station has a wide selection of kids’ shows and games. If this doesn’t make their haircut experience happy, our stylists are equipped with bubbles, suckers and balloons to put your child at ease through the entire haircut experience.


We strive to provide a caring environment where we put both the child and the parent at ease.  Our stylists are skilled in cutting hair for all children, and provide that extra special touch for those with special needs. Not all children like to get their haircut, we are aware of this struggle and do all we can to make the experience one that they will want to have again.

Would like the salon to space out appointments because of the current covid health hazard situation. There were atleast 3-4 families waiting at any given time with atleast 4-5 kids along with parents crowding the salon which is very unethical considering how many young children are not vaccinated and are so vulnerable to this disease.

Thank you for your feedback. Our salon is very busy on the weekends and needs to be to enable our stylists to continue working. For families who would rather come during less crowded times, you can schedule during the week or our stylists are also willing to come in before we open to provide the services which you can call to request.

I am usually very pleased with Cookie Cutters but was disappointed with the 25 minute wait, despite having and appointment, and the poor COVID prevention practices. None of the staff was masked. The CDC recommends masking in high areas of transmission and since we are in a COVID surge, everyone should be masked. I will not be returning to this salon for this reason, as my toddlers are not great at wearing masks, thus putting them at risk since employees are unmasked.

Thank your for your feedback. We strive diligently to stay on time but there are times when there will be a wait as we operate on "Kids Standard Time". We are the busiest on the weekends and need to be to keep all our staff working. As far as COVID, we ask any guests and stylists that are not vaccinated to please mask up and our sanitizing is a constant process both during open and closed hours. Also, any stylist is happy to wear a mask even if vaccinated if a family requests. It is a time for personal choice and we understand if you chose a different environment. Thank you again.

The person who cut our son's hair was a bit apathetic. Our son was having a hard time and she didn't try to help the situation. Hair was falling all over his eyes and mouth further upsetting him and she didn't bother to clean his face up. I asked her to please clean his face and she just rubbed his face with a towel not really attempting to clean him. It was just really upsetting and I thought about not even tiping her.

We have been to one other Cookie Cutters back in our hometown, and so the bar was set very high. Unfortunately, this location was a zoo, and was not enforcing any COVID protocols to help mitigate the risk for the little kids in there. Luckily, we asked our person to wear a mask, which she did, but there were way too many people inside and way too many people without masks. Would not recommend going back.
