Once I walked into my local cookie cutter Hair Cuts for Kids and the lady in the front counter tried to explain that I didn't have an appointment with them when I already made an appointment online and she said no I didn't once again then gave me an attitude then handed me down to another employee to processed with my appointment. Overall the appointment went well the stylist named David was very gentle with both my 2 year old and 6 year old sons.

Unfortunately our stylist was late again. She had misread the appointment time and was ultimately 15 minutes late. This was not acceptable as we had someplace to be and had I not asked "how much longer" she wouldn't have even realized she was already past our appointment time. We arrive 7 minutes before our 1pm appointment time. I am just continuously disappointed 😞. There are limited options for places to cut kids hair. Additionally the salon has raised their prices for less than desired service. The stylists we really liked who were always consistent Unfortunately moved onto other salons.

Cape put around child's neck was covered in someone else's hair. Gross and unhygienic. Maybe have more capes and wash them between used?

The staff member Mari Dolores skipped my son and didn't check in with us at all. She began to help someone else and when other staff members notified her we had been next (by appt and by early check in) she reacted defensively and still never came to verify anything. However Marita and another staff member were very welcoming and were quick to adjust their schedule since we had been waiting and had another therapy appointment since my son had Autism. Normally our experience is great and feels inclusive. I am a returning customer and would hope situations could be minimized or at the very least acknowledged and with ownership. Something Mari Dolores failed to do. But I'm happy Marita and the other coworker saved the day!
