This place came by recommendation by friends and family when it comes to children who are scared, timid, shy, and/or autism spectrum. The feedback I was receiving was great even after my multiple experiences. No one in the establishment is equipped to handle children who are overly fidgety. I was suggested to give my child melatonin next time to have them calmer. Was also informed that they will no longer be taking overly fidgety children and autistic children due to liability. Instead of making appropriate suggestions or talking with the parents with the fidgety child/children; because of past visits; they will ignore you and pretend you didn’t even checked in or walked in before the other clients. They will clean up there stations slowly and talk in Spanish about “ No quiero cortarle el pelo porque la señora es rara” Well maybe if staff were better equipped and knowledgeable about children on the autism spectrum and “terrible 2s, 3s, & 4s” and are better trained to not assume not everyone speaks Spanish or can’t understand it in this current lifetime. Definitely not recommending this place to no one. I’ve been to this establishment on numerous occasions, giving the staff the benefit of doubt. The first gal did amazing, she was passionate helping my child understand what was happening and talking the entire process in a soothing voice, she smiled and kept the reassurance. My visits after her were terrible. They just want to cut hair get money and get out. They are better equipped in a adult salon.
