The staff member Mari Dolores skipped my son and didn't check in with us at all. She began to help someone else and when other staff members notified her we had been next (by appt and by early check in) she reacted defensively and still never came to verify anything. However Marita and another staff member were very welcoming and were quick to adjust their schedule since we had been waiting and had another therapy appointment since my son had Autism. Normally our experience is great and feels inclusive. I am a returning customer and would hope situations could be minimized or at the very least acknowledged and with ownership. Something Mari Dolores failed to do. But I'm happy Marita and the other coworker saved the day!

Cape put around child's neck was covered in someone else's hair. Gross and unhygienic. Maybe have more capes and wash them between used?

Once I walked into my local cookie cutter Hair Cuts for Kids and the lady in the front counter tried to explain that I didn't have an appointment with them when I already made an appointment online and she said no I didn't once again then gave me an attitude then handed me down to another employee to processed with my appointment. Overall the appointment went well the stylist named David was very gentle with both my 2 year old and 6 year old sons.

The environment is cute and the haircut is good. The wait is terrible! They need to book appointments 30 minutes apart, not 15. My wait was over 40 minutes past my appointment time.

The stylist tried to physically force my 5 year old to get his hair cut. Instead of trying to talk to him to make him less nervous she physically tried to get him to not move in a way that felt too rough and borderline aggressive. She even went as far as asking him to hug her “a stranger” and grabbed his arms to put around her. I had to step in and play a game with him to get him through the hair cut because she was so aggressive she was making my son upset and defensive because she was being so rough. I will not be letting her cut my son’s hair again. She does not know how to work with kids, especially ticklish ones.

I have taken my grandson to Cookie Cutters many times for his hair cuts. Always been pleased with the results. This time I specifically requested a certain person to cut his hair when I made his appointment. However, when we arrived this person we had an appointment with was busy with another child. So another lady cut his hair. No one asked if that was okay they just went forth and cut his hair. The results were fine but why even give the option of requesting a specific stylist when you're going to get whoever is available. I was not happy with this and even my grandson told the lady cutting his hair, "the other lady over there is my favorite." I drive quite a distance to take him to Cookie Cutters and if this happens again I will definitely start looking for a salon closer to home.
