Was not very satisfied this time. Seems to be hit and miss depending on who we get. Shaved his hair line an inch up in the back, looks real bad. He was not happy today and it was a battle but this didn't seem to be a result of that, never has anyone said I need to make my 18momth old tip his head down and hold it, as if that would work.

I love the idea behind Cookie Cutters. I'd like to cut my kids hair myself, but they are so wiggly when they are little. The stylist had lots of good techniques to get my daughter to sit still or move her head the right way. It was fast and fun. I didn't have to wait at all for my appointment. She sent my daughter home with a cute braid too. My only problem is that when I came home and looked more closely I realized that there were some uneven parts (almost an inch longer than the rest). I'll have to trim those up myself. But it's a great place for kids haircuts!

My kids love the environment. They do a great job making my kids feel comfortable and excited to get haircuts. I wish shampooing and a blow dry was included in the price. This place seems more expensive than other salons and doesn't include as much. I wasn't able to get an appointment and was rushed to get to people with appointments and I think the haircuts weren't as good as they would have been if not rushed.

The gal that did my daughter’s hair has done my son’s in the past as well. It really bothers me that she does not communicate with me more. She asks how they want it, then cuts, styles and sends them on their way before I can even check it over. When she did my son’s hair, we had to have it redone an hour later. With my daughters, she braided it before I even saw the cut. It really irritates me. I really wish she would communicate with the parent and be more friendly overall.

It was hectic and I feel like our hair dresser was overwhelmed, especially since the front desk staff got us set up well before she was ready to help us. I love cookie cutters and the stylist we had, but today it felt like they had scheduled too many appointments with too few staff.
