I'm sure they want to get the haircut over with fast as kids have little patience however the person who cut my sons hair was super fast and didn't even line up his hairline correctly, I usually pay $13 at a barbershop and they will spend so much time on his hair making sure the lines are clean. This woman just seemed to want to get him out of her chair as soon as possible. I was not impressed, and didn't feel welcomed. The receptionist however was really nice to us.

Love Shantel she does an awesome job on my sons hair. What I most appreciate is she takes her time and makes sure he feels comfortable with what she’s doing. He used to be terrible for haircuts but he really likes Shantel. The overall experience is great!

I am really disappointed with out experience and feel like I really overpaid for what we received. This was my toddler’s first hair cut and her hair is so fine and very mullet-like. I just wanted the stylist to clean it up and cut the back shorter and evenly, like a longer bob. I felt as though she barely touched the back, cut too much from the front and left it pretty jacked overall. I asked her to cut more off the back and she told me my daughter would need to keep her head down for that. So I put a lot of effort into distracting my daughter and keeping her looking down, but the stylist barely took anything off and then put her hair in pigtails before I could really ask for much more of a cut. I took the pigtails out at home and I feel as though her hair looks worse now. I intended to purchase the baby’s first haircut package, but paying $20 for an experience like this is ridiculous. Even paying $16 is too much, plus we drove quite a ways since this seems to be the only kid salon around. I’m really disappointed.

For a 15 minute appointment, $15 feels steep. Even at the discounted rate of 5 for $60, that puts a haircut at $12 and that is still a little high. However, my kids love to come here and the haircuts are better than I can do at home so we come on occasion. I feel like if the rates were lower, I’d be more willing to come more often.
