The gal that did my daughter’s hair has done my son’s in the past as well. It really bothers me that she does not communicate with me more. She asks how they want it, then cuts, styles and sends them on their way before I can even check it over. When she did my son’s hair, we had to have it redone an hour later. With my daughters, she braided it before I even saw the cut. It really irritates me. I really wish she would communicate with the parent and be more friendly overall.

It was hectic and I feel like our hair dresser was overwhelmed, especially since the front desk staff got us set up well before she was ready to help us. I love cookie cutters and the stylist we had, but today it felt like they had scheduled too many appointments with too few staff.

We do not live in the area, so every time we are in town we get the kids haircut here. Over the four years we've been going here I noticed during this last visit that the upkeep of the salon has deteriorated. It was not very clean. The floor was so dirty. There was hair in all the cracks and crevices from the chairs, in the kids play area, all the way to the front door. Even though the haircuts are good, I'm not as inclined to return.

The shop was dirty, especially the slide for kids. It had hair all over it. Even outside the door there was a clump if hair.

The hair stylist didn't ask my daughter if she wanted braids in her hair. I just felt like she was rushing us out. She didn't even offer a balloon. I had to ask for a balloon. Usually the service here is very good but I didn't feel like that today. There was little patience for my 5 year old daughter. There was some patience, but the hairdresser was either having a bad day or didn't like her job.

The boy cut was choppy, not straight or faded. Because of that reason, for me it was not worth the high price I paid. However, the staff was very kind patient and helpful. The atmosphere so fun and appealed to kids. Darling salon, I wish them the best.
