⭐⭐⭐☆☆ Review for OnStage Salon This was my first time visiting OnStage Salon & Spa, and I honestly didn’t know what to expect. I want to start with the positive: Tania was absolutely fantastic. She was very professional, attentive, and highly skilled, and she truly exceeded all of my expectations. Based on my experience with her alone, I would give Tania a full 5 stars without hesitation. Unfortunately, my experience with the salon overall was disappointing. I paid $175 for the service, which was a surprise. I have been going to highly rated salons for the past 10–20 years, and even then, I typically paid no more than $100 for comparable services. I chose OnStage Salon & Spa mainly because of its convenient location near my home and office, hoping it would become a great long-term fit. Additionally, the salon’s advertises a 25% discount for first-time customers during online booking, but this discount was not applied, nor was it mentioned at checkout. That was frustrating and left a negative impression. Summary: Tania: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (excellent, highly recommended) Salon experience/pricing/transparency: ⭐☆☆☆☆ I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously, as the talent is there — but the pricing transparency and advertised promotions need improvement.

Tania did an excellent job on my highlights. The reasons for my ratings include the following: The cash policy/fee for credit cards is very annoying. No other salons operate as such, and are priced similarly. Additionally, the front desk person didn't process my services correctly and she missed an item. As a result I had to make a return trip to the salon the next morning. Most importantly, I was sold a hair care product that I couldn't use due to it containing a cancer-causing ingredient. I explained to April (who was on the phone to George) that I have Leukemia and cannot use anything containing that ingredient. It was not used, as I had just bought it the prior afternoon and it was clear I had the same blowout from Tania. George refused to return it and only agreed to provide a credit. Frankly I should have only paid the difference in the missed amount I owed but in good faith I paid the $50 up front. It's a shame that a fellow business owner has such poor and untrusting ways of operating. Very disappointing outcome, and it has tarnished my view of the salon. All over a $32 product.
