We have been to many places for haircuts for our children. We have had pretty bad hair cuts and some really good ones. In general we have always excellent service at Cookie Cutters and average to better than average haircuts for all of our boys. But this time was the worst hair cut any of my children have ever gotten. The bangs were completely crooked and the back was totally uneven. And this is my child who has the easiest hair to cut and has never gotten a bad hair cut. I expect it in my other kids because it’s much more challenging. But this visit they got good cuts. But one of them is terrible. I will need to go to another place to get it fixed tomorrow. It is the first bad experience we have had here. I would return but would not cut with the same person.

We have been bringing our son to have his haircut here for 2 years, always with Kristen who did a great job. However, she is no longer working there and the last two times we have been have been unsatisfactory to say the least. This last time was the last straw. We will not be going back. The girl who cut his hair today was out of it and her hands were shaking. My husband had to tell her and explain multiple times what we wanted-a classic little boys cut, nothing complicated. His hair looks awful even after he tried to have her fix it. It is cut straight and too short across the front and still somehow too long on top. Never mind we are supposed to have pictures taken tomorrow and I have to find somewhere to take him to fix it. Very disappointed and have been giving them the benefit of the doubt with all the new people but no more.

Unfortunately, Zander has a bald spot over his left ear from the clippers. I was asked to hold him still after the mistake. I just wish I could have been asked before she trimmed around his ears. Zander sat still and let her do what was needed. Very disappointed with his cut... We love this concept, but probably won’t return. The ladies were all nice and they all had tremendous patience with the kids, but this is a pretty Big misshape. My poor 5 year old has to sport a bald spot .

The stylist who did my son’s hair was less than welcoming. He is 2 and was struggling with wanting to get a haircut and she did nothing besides continue to check her watch and remind us she had limited time even though she pulled us back before our appointment technically started. When we got our son to pick a chair and sit he squirmed a tiny bit and she mumbled “oh great”. For someone who works at a place geared towards kids, she had no idea how to interact with them.

The woman who cut my sons hair cut him 4 times with the clippers. The receptionist at the front desk is rude

Love the idea of a kids salon but it didn't really wow me much. Tvs and cool chairs are nice for the kids.
