i Had a hair color done. My preferred stylist colored my hair. But when it came down to blow dry it and style it she had another person do it. The person who styled it was really nice only I could tell she was inexperienced. I don’t believe she had a cosmetology license,again she was really nice but she struggled with my hair because it’s very thick. My stylist in the mean time was working with her other client. This is the second time this happened to me with this stylist. I’m not one to complain but if I felt like I got professional color but when it came down to blow dry and style it I could’ve have gone a beauty college to get that service at lower price for what I got. I don’t know why it’s happened twice now or if they are not scheduling enough time with clients but I felt like I didn’t get the service I deserve and I don’t know if I’ll go back to this salon.

Everyone at the salon was very nice, and the location was great. However, my hair doesn't look like the reference photo I brought in. The stylist I had said she never had done a pixie cut before and I should have just cancelled at that point. She did a poor job and called in a more experienced stylist to fix it. She made it look much better, but when I got home and looked in a close mirror I realized how off it is still. I regret not leaving when I found out she didn't know how to do the cut.

Abby was absolutely sweet and such a gem. She was great to listen to what i wanted as far as coloring my hair and did her best i truly believe. However, I wasn't told how much hair i would loose due to the brushing out ratted and matted parts due to the process of dying it. I had to brush through it wet and it ripped out so much of my hair - like a huge ball in my hand - i was horrified. Sorry to be a drama queen, but i have been on a very long journey to healthy, long, beautiful hair and I just think there has to be a better way to do this. Also, i wasn't given any post care advice or offered any products and i would have really loved that. I think she did a great job as far as blending the color, but I am wondering if there is another technique that would be more careful on our hair when dying it. I would come back, but I would appreciate having someone who would be very careful with my hair and find a way to avoid so much breakage.

I have gotten my last few hair cuts at Salon Rouge and I have had great expetiences with Diana. She did not have any open appointments so I scheduled with anyone and was put with Madeline. I had a terrible experience. She seemed so nervous about cutting my hair. So nervous that I asked her if she felt comfortable and she said, "no." I believe she meant no, I do feel comfortable but all she said was, "no." I was started to feel so uncomfortable and worried about her cutting my hair I almost asked her to stop so I could leave. I told her I did not want my hair styled and she used the blow dryer and some product to style my hair. I also came to my appointment with my hair naturally wavy and showed her pictures of the cut I wanted. After she washed my hair and started to cut my hair was curling and she asked if I had wavy hair. I felt as though she was not paying attention and that she was extremely nervous. Those are not quailities that make me as a customer feel seen and understood.I love your salon but just had a frightening experience.
