I really like my stylist, Chrissy - she's a good fit for me. And the more appointments I accumulate with her, the smoother it will get. Part of hair appointments is becoming acquainted with each other to see if we can work together and that only improves over time. For some reason it seems like that long-time male stylist does not care for me - bad vibes, wondering why he was dead-staring at me. For some reason that has always been a problem with the male stylists. The gals at the front desk also helped me feel a little bit more comfortable. I've been going there for many years now - but have only had Chrissy for around the last 7 times and she does a great job. I'm satisfied with the hairstyle she gives me. Going to Salon Rouge is a treat for me - wish I could have appointments more often as my hair is thick and grows back very quickly. One thing I might suggest is getting some little free samples of hair gel for me to try at home. Though I do like that Capital Force - bought some so I know.

You used to send out postcards on your birthday with % of service. I no longer get them. Used to give $5 off cards, but stopped. No type of coupons or anything. I love it there and faithfully go every few months. You guys are kinda pricey so it would be nice to get a discount, punch card or something to show us you appreciate your regular customers.

As a larger person I am still dismayed that the chairs at Salon Rouge are too tiny for my frame. I literally have terrible pain in my legs from squeezing into them for the hour it takes to get my color done. I would appreciate it if at least one chair could be made available that is a bit larger to fit a bigger-sized person. I have been a loyal customer to Salon Rouge every 7 weeks for the past 10 years.

I really appreciate that Salon Rouge has a free bangs trim policy...has prevented a lot of DIY hack jobs! I stopped in to see my regular stylist but she was busy, so I met with Julia (I really appreciate the stylists take care of each others' customers even for a free service). Julia really impressed me! For something as simple as a bangs trim, she had awesome suggestions that worked around my hair type and cowlick. I appreciated she took me seriously and gave me 110%, and thought she was a creative problem-solver. I love my regular stylist, but if you're looking for someone new, check out Julia.

I was told I would be offered wine and I was so stoked! I wasnt, instead I was treated as if I was a returning customer, which really is great to be warmly welcomed but I didn't know what I was doing! That is the only negative I have tho! The front desk was kind and polite and the stylist was wonderful, even after a long day. My hair just need a cut to fix a poor quality cut that had grown out and it turned out wonderfully!
