We’ve been to cookie cutters a few times now and they usually do a great job- but this time I am so so sad about how my son’s hair turned out. I know he is a toddler and he was pretty sad during it- but the girl who cut it did it in 3 minutes and seemed like she was just rushing and not being careful at all. It is the worst haircuts I’ve ever seen on anyone. There is a huge section right in the middle of his head that is cut so much shorter than anything around it, and the hair on his forehead is diagonal and choppy. I can’t believe I paid $25 for what we got :( I know my son was being tricky, but even when he’s been sad in other appointments the girls who helped us were super careful and did their best. The whole experience felt rushed and the girl cutting his hair seemed annoyed. I’m not sure we will be coming back anytime soon.

I have taken my children to the Spanish Fork location for many years and this was the first time Ive ever questioned whether I want to bring my kid back. There were four ladies there and I could tell they were all new and not very experienced. I made it very clear that my wedding was on Saturday and thats why we were here getting his hair cut. The lady that did it was very nice but I could tell she was struggling with what to do and how to cut his hair. I wasn't liking how it was looking which was hard for me cause Im not one to complain and didn't want to hurt the employees feelings but it was horrible. It wasn't even and wasn't even close to being blended in. She asked me what I thought and I stated Im not sure if it the hair cut or my sons head looks funny? Honestly Id didn't know what to say? Im so grateful the employee reached out to the manager to come look at it and then the manager took over and was giving her advice. I wanted so badly to ask if the manager could just finish my sons hair cause I didn't trust the girl that started it. Between the two of them going back and forth we got done with my sons hair 43 minutes later. I don't think I'll be going back there anytime soon until they can get some employees with experience. With the price we pay I would expect to feel confident that I can trust your employees to cut my children's hair.

We asked for a enough hair we could put his hair in a faux hawk style like usual. He had about 3 inches of hair on top. But the stylist buzzed the entire thing. We didn’t even get the chance to stop her on the top, because she buzzed right through the center of his head so there was no stopping her at that point. We didn’t want to make a scene but never in all of the times we have come her her this happened. We tell them the same thing every time and we always get what we ask for, but today was not the case. I don’t know if there was a miscommunication or something. But we were in and out in 5 mins with a cut we didn’t ask for. We’re just a little frustrated about that.

We were met with “I have 7 minutes”. No hi or anything. (We weren’t later than 5 minutes to our appointment). The girl cutting my son’s hair was going too fast so my son was wincing. She nicked the back of his neck twice and his haircut wasn’t even in the front which I fixed myself. My son is 5 and isn’t a typically squirmy kid while getting his haircut, and we have seen this hairdresser for over a year. VERY disappointed and upset with how we were treated this last time. NOT happy.

My first mistake was not having the stylist I scheduled with cut my sons hair. I don’t know if Averie was new or what, but I told her how we usually get our sons hair cut: longer on top, short on the sides. After she cut the top, it was sooooo short that I didn’t have a choice other than to have her buzz the rest off, I expressed how upset I was about how short his hair was and I was literally almost in tears, all I got was “sorry”. I shouldn’t have paid, but I did. Just really bothered that she didn’t know what “make it a bit shorter” meant. We honestly probably won’t be back after tonight.

We’ve gone to Cookie Cutters many times and my kids have always. loved it. But today the hair stylist cut my daughter’s finger. She didn’t see her lifting her hand and she cut her finger while trimming her bangs. My daughter was bleeding so much she almost used up the entire box of tissues to put pressure on the tip of her finger that was cut. It was an awful experience and I’m so glad my 4 year old was brave but I was in tears and nervous for all of it. On top of all that she went through, we still had to pay for the bangs being trimmed. Even though her bangs turned out awful and she was cut and still bleeding when we left the salon. I was really disappointed this happened.
