Today's visit was not the greatest. We've been going to cookie cutters for years. We go to NJ, PA, MD & VA Locations and we have never experienced the type of service we did today. Our son is autistic, and every time we've come we are served immediately our stylist would know what his normal cut is. In a sense be prepared for our son. We understand that it may not always be easy as he is sensitive to hair cuts. We came 15 minutes early to wait outside for the team to eat and then to be sitting in a chair ready while our stylist isn't even in the building. You have a 5 minute late policy for your clients and your own stylist wasn't there. We are extremely unhappy with the experience we had today and will not be returning to this location.

I made an appt for today with MS Lori whose profile says she has been cutting all textured hair for over 30 years and once i got there requested for my biracial son to get a shape up with tapered sides. A cut that a previous employee has provided perfect a number of times before. She then explains how she dont do textured hair i then requested just a simple shape up she tells me the only thing shes comfortable with doing is a trim and she wont be able to give me a ms kee kee cut. I requested for him to just get cleaned up and just a line up in the front. She said to enter at your own risk and she dont want to ruin my holiday. This was a complete waste of my time especially being a day before the holidays with no other option but to leave his hair messy. Unfortunately i will have to find another child barber for my 20 month old son.

Henry’s hair is not even. Stylist missed many spots. Stylist didn’t listen to what we wanted. Very disappointed. Can’t believe we spent $20 on this haircut that we have to try to fix at home.

If you (or the person who can is not around)cannot cut and style African American hair PROPERLY, PLEASE be honest and decline. I use money and time for my kids to have a great experience just like any other race/ loose textured child that visits your establishment. I was frustrated when I saw both my sons hair when they returned home. We asked for a simple taper and no shape up which should have made it easier but my husband had to fix the hair cut when he came home meaning more time (and having to grow the hair out again). I honestly could not tell my son that his hair cut was bad because I did not want to hurt his self esteem. As a parent I should never have to do that after paying money for a service. There was a literal low patch at the top of his head, no taper, and areas of his hair where it was not cut. I will never bring my kids here ever again. NEVER EVER!! You should be ashamed. Just call it what it is and do not accept African American Clients. Simple.

The stylist kept asking me what to do with hair even after showing her pictures. I have no idea haircut styles and didn’t like that she didn’t seem to either.
