my name is Brian, my grandson (Jordan) (16 years old) and I have been coming to this location for over a year, Cloe has been cutting our hair and doing a great job. Sounds like she is no longer cutting hair at this location so Amber cut our hair. She did fine on mine but Jordan walked out in tears unfortunately. He is very picky and school starts next week and did not want much cut off this time and he said that Amber did not listen and cut way too much hair off. Unfortunately with that said we will not be returning. .

I had booked a signature haircut + massage with 'anyone' since my previous stylist Ann didn't appear on the website (I've since learned she's taking some time away after asking reception). When I arrived, I was placed with Kayla and it didn't feel like the same experience I had previously had with other stylists. She didn't provide the same level of concentration and detail that others had given. She kept asking if I wanted each little part of the service which seemed weird since I presumed those were part of the experience and why I come to the Men's Salon vs. other places. Additionally, and maybe ironically, I didn't receive the massage as placed during my booking, though. See the snippet from my confirmation email I received for details.

I expect that if I’m going to pay $50 for a haircut that the person cutting my hair would have the experience to do so. She was very nice, so I’m hesitant to leave a negative comment, but it is going to be very difficult for me to schedule another appointment there. She was new and in over her head. She had to ask someone else for help who sort of fixed it but probably didn’t get paid for it. An underwhelming experience at best.

Took 1 hour and 15 minutes for a simple men’s haircut. Barber didn’t know how to do a 0 fade. After 45 minutes of struggling he went and asked for help. The woman who came out helped him and then let him take back over. He struggled for another 20+ minutes at it. Said he was done and tried to send me on my way, but I could still see a hard line on my head. I made him ask the woman to come back out and fix it.

I thought I communicated what I wanted, including showing pictures, but I received a hair cut that was not at all what I was looking for. By the time I realized what happened, it was too late to change anything due to the length that had already been taken off. I didn't want to say anything in the moment because again there was nothing really to do to fix the problem issue. Everything else about the interaction was fine. I was just disappointed in not being able to receive that look that I thought I had communicated.
