While the person was nice enough during the session, she did not listen to the request as stated. My husband was standing there and gave instructions to cut our son's hair like his. My husband has a high fade with the top about 2-3" long. She began trimming down the side with clippers. No problem as we had been growing his hair out since Dec to do this style and knew that length needed to go. She then wet the top, which she was instructed to leave long, and said "let's get this out of your eyes." Snip. As you can see from the picture attached - I hope - the top is now about and 1.5" long at most. Nothing like my husbands hair or what he asked for. When my husband asked about the length still on the sides, he was told she couldn't cut it as short as his. I've had his hair cut here before, and it has definitely been clipped closer then this. At this point, he said he had her trim the rest of the top to match because she cut the front so short the original style wouldn't work. There was limited blending and the front is ruler straight across his forehead where before we had a nice fringe. It looks more like an at home haircut than one from a salon. As such, I will more likely than not not be returning in the future unless I find myself with no other alternative based on this cut. While she was nice, the service received was not worth the money paid.

I have also loved Cookie Cutters. Used them for the first time about 14 years ago with my oldest. They were very patient and understanding with the fidgety 1 year old. The only issue I have is not the cleanest location. When I cleaned my crawler's hands they were filthy.

The normal stylists weren't there, so we had a Cookie Cutters employee from the Avon store. She was better than any we've ever had in Greenwood! I don't like taking my son there at all anymore because they always mess his hair up, but he begged to go, so I gave in this time. I am so relieved that the lady from the Avon store was there. She was excellent! I don't know if we'll be back in fear that the Greenwood employees will be back, but I'm sure I'll get talked into it at some point.

I came in on Friday of spring break and was afraid I'd have to wait a while. There was an appointment scheduled when we arrived so only had to wait a little bit. I felt bad as the girl was the only one working but she did a great job handling the clients while also answering the phone and tending to people that walked in the door. And she did it all very enthusiastically and didn't complain once. My 3 year old decided to throw a fit and cry the entire time of his haircut but she did amazing. She was quick, but also thorough and talked very soothingly to my son while I tried to calm him down as well. She didn't appear to be irritated with his behavior and dealt with it so well which I really appreciated. It's hard enough when your kid is acting like that, so having her act the way she did made it a little less awful. We've gone there about 8 times now and he only ever had a fit once, so not sure what his deal was today. I guess just being a 3 year old! They do a great job and keep notes so different stylists know how the hair was cut previously. Definitely recommend- just wish they could hire some more people so the girls don't have to work solo like she did. I'm sure that's very aggravating.
