Unfortunately, there was a bunch of girls at the front cash register and I had to ask one of them to put her mask on. It was down for an extended period of time. I asked her politely to put her mask on. I know these are difficult times but we can’t be making these little mistakes.

Your recent price increase, unnanounced,poorly implemented, and unevenly applied against the demographic of your clientele, will ultimately put your business at risk. I'm a Senior (65 and over) who was paying $ 35.00 for a basic haircut in December. I left today paying $ 50.00 plus tip for a 30 minute experience. I love your staff and I've been a loyal customer from inception at the old Painter's Crossing location. I really was tempted to move my business over to Meagan when she opened up Club Shave. I chose not to out of loyalty. I feel Brittany is a great barber on par with Meagan. But I am now being asked to pay a $ 15.00 premium to get the same haircut experience. What would you do ? I would take another look at your business model and ask yourself the same question. Experience shows that once you lose a customer, they're gone forever. Is that really what you want ?

Rolf - Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective and for your many years of loyalty. We truly appreciate your kind words about our staff and the trust you’ve placed in us over the years. That said, I do want to clarify a few points. We have not implemented a general price increase in over five years. Over the past two years, the business absorbed significant increases in rent, utilities, supplies, payroll, and merchant service fees, during which time we operated at a loss. Any recent pricing adjustments were made thoughtfully and were necessary to keep the business sustainable. Our pricing reflects the experience level of the barber providing the service, not demographic factors. We believe in compensating highly skilled, career professionals fairly so we can retain top talent and maintain consistency for our clients. This approach is very different from volume-based chains or models that rely on high turnover and entry-level staff. We understand that changes can be frustrating, especially for long-standing clients, and pricing decisions are deeply personal. While we sincerely value loyalty, we must also ensure the long-term health of the business so we can continue serving our community and supporting our team.
