Once we got home and my son's hair dried, it is cut very uneven. The fade is horrible. The line up was jagged. Had to take him to a different barber to fix it.

My son was treated horribly during our visit. We’ve been here numerous times before and loved it but today’s was the opposite. My sons haircut was messed up, his hand was grabbed harshly many times and the person kept saying things like ‘it’s not a big freakin deal’ when he would complain about it hurting. Will never return again.

Daniel- the tall Caucasian barber with bleach blonde hair was extremely unprofessional to say the least. He was cursing while cutting my sons hair and made racial “jokes” towards my sons mother as well. Not to mention that upon arrival for our 2pm appointment we had to wait and the lady at the counter (might be the owner) skipped because this other kids hair was “easier and faster” to cut. The barber seemed as if he was high on drugs as he was sniffing and snorting a lot while rubbing his nose then went on to tell some really inappropriate and random stories and asked random and inappropriate questions as well. He was not at all patient with my son nor did he even try to engage on his level. My son literally left there traumatized. The haircut itself came out uneven and not even close to as good as other places that we’ve been to. Keep in mind that we drive 45 minutes from st Augustine for this haircut. This is obviously a franchise location and whoever the owner of this franchise is has absolutely no business giving kids haircuts. This was hands down the ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I will never recommend this place to anyone ever. Please find another profession because the individuals working in this establishment have no clue what good customer service is and do not know anything about communicating with kids either.

We come to this location every 5 weeks or so and have never had a bad experience before. But today the shop was Horribly run without the owner/manager present. Had a 4pm appt and checked in a few minutes early. Wasn’t taken for a haircut until one of the staff members started calling out for the next person, and after a family who had just walked in cut in front of 3 patrons in line, I finally told the girl at the front desk that we had a 4pm appt(it was after 4:20 At this point) and she said oh, okay you can go ahead. The very flamboyant staff member working pushed me into the race car multiple times and never said excuse me or I’m sorry once. I’m also 33 weeks pregnant. The staff was verbal about being ready to be done and close the shop, with the flamboyant staff member loudly saying it multiple times during our visit. I felt unwelcome the entire visit. Will make sure to only schedule appointments in the morning.

I made an appointment with Zaveia yet somehow got Daniel (who later told me his name is James). Daniel has cut my sons hair before and I specifically made an appointment not with him because he is so unprofessional and not good at what he does. I showed him the picture and he just hacked my sons hair off, yelled at both my son and me, and had no empathy when my son was just screaming the whole time. I just wanted my son out of the chair. I don’t know how he has a job.

It is helpful to have experienced children's stylists do first haircuts. Not someone whose hand shakes the whole time and can't get why a new 1 year old will not bend their head the way instructed.
