I had made an appointment with a specific stylist. When I was in the first time she was super friendly. Understood the fact he had thin hair and it needed to be scissored. They were 30 mins late to starting the appointment. The girl at the front desk could have at least mentioned we are running behind today but no. Instead just sat there and let several people wait. Then when my stylist finally came out she was short, no introduction to the kid. Just what are we doing. Didn’t try to make him feel comfortable or talk to him. She never explained what she was doing to him. It’s only his second hair cut. The first time we came in it was great. This time though completely different. I’ve heard of several complaints about hair cuts here but figured we would give it a shot. My husband asked if I had looked at the back when we got home. He is not impressed either. Needless to say we won’t be back with our toddler. Maybe for baby’s first cut since then you actually seem to care but not for continuous hair care. Also I would like to mention there was very visible hair in the cars like you are not cleaning them well at all. I know hair gets everywhere and is hard to clean up, but it could have been cleaner.

On more than one occasion we have received a poor quality cut from this location. So I made it a point to always book with the same person. When she left a few months ago we were able to find another Stylist who we trusted and gave great cuts. I booked the appt over a week in advance with a specific stylist. My email showed the appt was booked with that specific stylist. When we went in for our appt today the salon changed it to a different stylist. The one we wanted was there and no explanation was given as to why it was switched. The girl who ultimately cut my son’s hair did a terrible job. It’s so hit or miss at this place which is why I booked this appt in advance to have it with the stylist I know does a good job. The girl we got today just did not seem to understand what we wanted and now my son’s hair is uneven and sticks up in random places. Very unsatisfied and now that I know the salon will just switch stylists at their choosing I will not be back. It’s unacceptable to me and then to be assigned to someone who doesn’t know how to cut hair.

Yes, I admit we were 10 minutes late. The employee who greeted us was very hostile and told me we’d have to wait another 2 hours to get a haircut. I countered that the place was empty, could she just squeeze us in now. She admitted he next appt was running late and begrudgingly agreed to give my son his first haircut. She was done cutting before the theme song of his show even ended. Fastest $20 ever made. There was no advice, talk of what would work with his hair type, nothing. We won’t be back.

The person who cut Richards hair did a terrible job. I will probably have to go get it fixed elsewhere. I would not recommend or have service with Melanie again. Very unfriendly and uncommunicative. The lady who cut my younger son’s hair did a good job, her name was Krystal.

The manger was super grumpy to my kids our hair dresser was nice but put gell in my sons hair with out asking 😑 I got home and his hair was not blended enouph I feel like she knew that and was trying to cover it up

Brought a pictures stylist didn't pay much attention to it. She Didn't ask questions implying she didn't know what I wanted. She was annoyed when I told her it was to long. After trimming another 1/2in off to reach the length I asked for. She told me "What do you think ,if you don't like it you'll have to make another appointment?" That left a terrible taste in my mouth. I'm just not comfortable returning to Boise location.
