At Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids children get to enjoy more than the typical salon booster seat. They get to choose their favorite fantasy car to sit in during their haircut and each station has a wide selection of kids’ shows. If this doesn’t make their haircut experience happy, our stylists are equipped with bubbles, suckers and balloons to put your child at ease through the entire haircut experience.


We strive to make the haircut experience, whether it is their first or their 15th, a fun and memorable one. Haircuts are painless, literally, and we want them to be the same, figuratively, for parents and their children. We bring kids here so that they watch videos and have their hair cut. But we were not lucky to have TV screen on. No screen was working where we sat (2 different chairs).

I am not sure why the televisions were not working but it probably had to do with an outage of the internet or issue with Spectrum. Our apologies that they kids could not watch tv but I am happy the haircuts, the primary reason you were there, were good.

It makes no sense the schedule an appointment for 2 kids at the same time only to wait 40 minute for the second child to be seen. If you are busy, restrict your scheduling system or get more staff. My intent was to schedule a haircut for both kids at the same time and spend 30 min all together in the salon, instead it was an hour and half almost. Stylists are super nice and professional for the most parts, it’s just the wait and scheduling issue

My 3 year old got cut behind his ear, personal cutting his hair was talking with him so rudely when he was moving his head. She was instructing him to sit steal and with any movement she was giving rude reaction. Patience and friendliness was missing completely even though you are in business where your customers are tiny humans

The stylists were very nice and very hardworking. My son loved the chairs and to have some space to play. However, 15 minutes is not enough time for appointments as the stylists were working so hard and fast but they also had to run the register and this backed up appointments. It didn't seem fair to them.

Thank you for coming to Cookie Cutters and for your kind words. I do agree with your assessment on the time. Unfortunately it has been a very difficult period to hire additional stylists and receptionists. Ideally I would like to have high school students who are diligent and focused to be receptionists but can't find any that want to work in the afternoons or the weekends. If you happen to know any that might be interested, please have them contact the salon. I usually pay receptionists $11/hr once they are through the probationary period. We hope to see you again soon.
