It was not as great experience like always, few things that could be done better. The student Gina, seemed clueless and confused. She was def not confident. Also she dint wash my hair properly and I had to wash it myself which has never happened in the past. She was very clumsy and sprayed all over. For the balayage it was ok, they should have told me not to do it with root touchup cos now it looks like it started away from the roots. Also the student dint do the right side evenly like the left and so now I see more blond on the right compared to left(which is more blended look). I will return for root touchup but not very satisfied with this experience.

The service was pleasant and the esthetician was professional and personable. However, she repeatedly left the room to get the necessary procedure supplies. I thought the treatment was rather short also. But overall I'm happy with the service/

My first time at the academy, I was there for a root touch up. Very happy with the results. I guess the only negative thing I would like to share is the young lady that did my hair very sweet and patient she had extremely long nails which made it very hard for her to work kept dropping things and while washing my hair it was a challenge to properly get my hair cleaned.

Usually so happy with the services. But this cut not happy with. The cut looks funny cuz I have high lights and the way the student and instructor cut it shows my hair underneath which is a darker color. So it looks uneven. The cut is so blunt. It just doesn’t have a nice shape to it. Called to try to a schedule someone to fix it. The receptionists are always nice as usual. But since they can only do Mon Weds and Fri, I couldn’t schedule a fix up appointment. I work those days and can’t take another day off before I leave on vacation for 3 weeks. Hopefully I can find another salon before I leave to fix it. Boo hoo.

Our first visit was good but then we had to come back 5 days later to do a color correction because the left side was more bleached and blotchy. The right side was perfect. They tried to charge me but I thought it was just a bad job on the one side. The problem was they had two girls doing my daughters hair the first time and that’s why it was unbalanced. So the issue got fixed on the second trip and all was good. My daughter is happy with the way it turned out.

The teacher did not check hair at end of service to insure color took or if it was even. I had color around my face and on area where my hair is parted. I understand that there is going to be some color and has to be wiped off. I left with frizzy hair, the student was putting product on every section to tame the frizz after the initial application, instead of sectioning hair in small sections, blow drying one way then the opposite direction with while applying tension to hair.
