The young lady that did my facial (Alize I think was her name) was excellent! She explained what she would be doing and what she was doing during my facial. The massage was good & so relaxing that I almost fell asleep!!! I’ve been going to JD for quite some time mainly for my hair but finally decided to do a facial and now I have a scalp massage scheduled for next week!

It’s a school so I’m not expecting a high end spa. But the service is great, everyone is friendly and it’s great value for the money paid.

Taylor was awesome! I was very impressed. I have thick, curly hair and she did an amazing job in about an hour using limited product, applied right tension. My hair was frizz free. Ms. Anna and Ms. Forette are always pleasant and helpful. Wonderful talented staff. The friend desk is friendly.

Since the service takes double the amount of time, I feel like the color prices could be less. Additionally, charging extra to flat iron versus blow dry I think it's silly. A customer should leave styled, and if her flat iron works better for their hair type then pulling with a round brush, then it should not be additional to use the tool. I'm pretty frustrated. There's a $15 fee to use a flat iron when it's a necessary styling tool to battle frizz.

I always love coming here for my facials. I wish they offered more services via Groupon so I can try them all. The students are always nice. Some are chattier than others. Some do a great job of describing what they are putting on my face or why they chose what they did for my skin. This time around while my aesthetician did a great job, I didn't get a whole lot of information regarding the products or the ingredients they used and why it's great for my skin.
