I have naturally long curly hair and just wanted a trim. I used the same stylist who cut my hair the first time I came here because he did a really good job. Last time he asked me if I wanted my hair dried with a diffuser which is my preference because it keeps my hair curly. This time he didn’t ask me and he used a hot blow dryer and combed my hair completely straight, then re-curled my hair with a curling iron. My hair was unrecognizable. I didn’t say anything about wanting it straightened. It didn’t look bad, but I’ve never had my hair straightened before and it’s not my style. It’s like he gave me a trendy TV actress hairstyle instead of keeping my hair the way it was. Next time I’ll say I want a diffuser. I just wasn’t expecting this. I can’t wait to wash my hair and have it go back to normal.
