The place is very cute. The hair stylist was nice but very rushed. She didn’t finish brushing my 5 year olds hair before cutting it, which caused the comb to pull on her hair and was uncomfortable. I only brought her here because it was her first haircut and she was very excited, but it was a bad experience and for the price, I’d rather go to a salon since they charge the same price and aren’t as rushed. I also had to pick up her hair off the floor to save a piece for her, even though I did mention a few times that it was her first haircut. They gave me a bag to put it in. Not impressed at all. My 5 year old does not want to go back.

My experience here was not the best and not the worst. I strongly believe that if you work with kids your energy should be higher and have a positive attitude. It wasn’t the case here. Every time I come to this specific location the staff look unhappy to be there, very dry. As a mom I want my kids to feel welcomed. I was 2-3 minutes late so I would understand if someone went ahead of me but it wasn’t busy and no one checked in with me to let me know that we would be seated shortly. I booked an appointment with whoever was available and there was one available! This lady was on her phone and she never acknowledged us. In fact she throughout the 30 min she ended up locking out for lunch. We finally got seated with Maria. She asked what we wanted and it was the complete opposite! She rushed through the haircut and was very rough with my boy. Usually she tells him how to move his head but I guess she was annoyed that he wasn’t doing what she needed to do. She always does a decent job but I guess today wasn’t her day.. I hope they ALL do better

We arrived a few minutes before our appointment time. Once we were called for our turn the hair cutter didn’t introduce herself or welcome us. She walked to a station and we just followed. Once my daughter was in the car she started to whine and the hair cutter said just bangs? I signed up for a full haircut but I get as if she didn’t want to deal with a full cut on a toddler that was starting to protest to sitting still in the car. She simply wet her hair, combed it forward and cut it. There was no framing her face or anything. It was something I could’ve done at home. I went there hoping for something better than an amateur parent could do. This was our first and last time going to Cookie cutter for a haircut. I will take her to my stylist for all cuts from now on.

My son has brown hair. Cape and scissors both had blonde hair still on it. And some of it landed on my son during his haircut. The airplane he sat on had old hair clippings all over it. The stylist dropped the comb on the floor, didnt even attempt to wipe it down before using it on my son. Overall disgusted with this place. This was my third and final visit.

Ther lady was trying to get it done as quickly as possible with little regards for making my son feel comfortable or safe. She did not offer for him to pick the seat he liked or watch a show in the iPad. She did not speak at all except to ask me if she cut enough off. He was crying and moving and trying to cover his ears and face. I know that made it difficult but at no time did she stop and try to let him calm down or talk to him. I have been here 3 times. The first time was okay but the last 2 times were very bad. The second time the stylists were rude and abrasive. This time it was an experience that lasted maybe ten minutes because no one wanted to make it better. I will not refer anyone to come here and I will not come back.
