We had an amazing first experience at a different Cookie Cutters location in Michigan and will definitely go back to that one. Unfortunately the location in Canton we found the staff was just talking above everything to themselves the hairdresser she’s probably used to adults not kids she talked to us instead of our child, didn’t make him feel very comfortable wasn’t aware of what she was doing like let hair fall into his mouth and his eyes and she didn’t even try to interact with him and make him feel calm like the other girl at the other location did. When she asked us what we wanted, she wasn’t actually listening. We had to redirect her many times like I said it got the job done but it wasn’t an amazing experience like we experienced at the other cookie-cutter location.

My husband took our 2.5 year old son for a haircut this morning and it turned out really bad. He's had several haircuts in the past and doesn't always do very well and I understand it's not an easy task. However,it doesn't look like this woman tried to even it out and it looks awful. It's very choppy and is by far the worst haircut he's received.

Some staff are adequately skilled and some are not. They need to listen to what the parent wants and not do whatever the stylist wants. When I ask for a trim, don’t cut the hair super short. I complained that previous stylists have cut too short and was assured that this would not be done. However, the stylist cut the hair even more short than the prior one had done!

We have always really appreciated the environment and the friendliness of the cookie-cutter staff. That being said, our sons haircut is terrible. They did not blend in the back, and you can see a huge line right in the middle of the back of his head, where they switched blades unfortunately, I’m just not sure we can come back knowing that the staff you now have is completely ineffective and providing high-quality haircuts.

Oddly enough, not the most kid friendly but hair cut turned out nice.
