The haircuts were good for the most part. We will not be returning to cookie cutters because the front desk staff was very rude to us during this visit. Didn’t greet us when we entered or was friendly to my kids and myself. Also offered the kids in front of us, who were checking out, balloons but my kids had to stand there and ask in order to get one balloon for the two of them. We’ve been loyal customers to cookie cutters for years but after this rude experience, we will take our business elsewhere

I wanted to get my daugther and my hair cut at the same time. I booked two 1145 appointments online. That way we could get in and out. They took my daugther about 1150 and I was waiting for my name to be called. At 1200 I heard the lady say she was going to start taking the noon appointments. I walked up and said my appointment was at 1145 it should be my turn. She said they were running late. I said ok but why would you take an 1200 appointment before an 1145 one. Then another lady said well the computer booked you after your daugther so you will have to wait. I showed her my confirmation showed both at 1145. She said well i can't help what the computer does. So I said whatever just cancel my appointment. They didn't even apologize. Won't be coming back.

The receptionist looked and acted like she was miserable working there. No smiles or positive energy. The place was so over stimulating for a child getting a hair cut, yet alone a first hair cut. I would have like to see more calm and relaxing vibes not circus vibes. Maybe even another separate room for child that are crying through their whole hair cut. It was not pleasant for my child to have to hear that the entire time. The place also seemed very dirty. We won't be returning.

My sons hair got cut way too short from the normal length he usually gets. Very disappointed and displeased.

I had explicitly told the hairdresser NOT to cut bangs on my daughter's hair and that was the exact thing she did the moment she grabbed her scissors. I was the only customer in the shop so it wasn't like she was distracted or overwhelmed. I am very disappointed.

We were late for our appointment and were kindly rescheduled by the receptionist. Unfortunately, our hairstylist was inpatient and did not replicate the haircut that our son requested. A photo was presented which also included a description of the cut (a 2-3inch faux hawk with a fade on the sides and back). She took a cursory glance of the photo, labeled it as a Mohawk, and got to work. Now I understand that working with kids can be stressful but this salon is specifically for children. Over the span of a 15 minute haircut, we heard the stylist’s tone quickly become sharper and more exasperated. Eventually, she requested for me to hold his head still to keep him from shifting. Note that my son is 6.5 years old with diagnosed ADHD. He was not upset, crying, and bouncing around through the session. He would simply forget the stylist’s request to look down, tilting his head up to see the show that the receptionist cut on for him. When the cut was “complete” it was a longer Mohawk-like style from forehead to nape of his neck. The stylist put on a fake smile, told him he looked cool, then asked if I wanted product in it. It’s a Mohawk…I thought that would be assumed. I confirmed and requested for styling advice so I could replicate it at home. Instead, she grabbed some product (I was not privy to the brand/product name), she slapped some on his hair and called it done. That’s it. No subtle spikes nor any gravity-defying peaks. We were all disappointed with the outcome. Thankfully, I was able to cut his hair at home to the style he requested (just your average, artsy mom with hair clippers). As a result of this experience, we will not be returning to this salon.
