Jacob's appointment was at 3:15pm. I had scheduled him the same time as my other son. Jacob was not seen until 3:35pm. If I was just told that they were behind schedule, I would not have been as confused as what was going on. It wasn't the stylist's fault that they were behind schedule, but a little communication would have clarified things.

Only the hairdresser was there and not a receptionist or another hairdresser. We had to wait this time for her to finish a screaming kid and then another haircut. With this place having such a strict do not be late policy, today we had to wait about 20 or more minutes over the appointment time. They should never just have one person there alone. The phone kept ringing while she was cutting hair and the bathroom was a mess!! No soap, hair from kids who got cut was on the floor, toilet, sink everywhere!! Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages!! Also, since she was there alone she couldn’t sweep up the hair near the seats and there was no one else there to do it. I felt bad for her. I don’t even know who the owner of this place is? Never met them?? Is it one of the hairdressers? One of the girls at the desk who’s there only once in a while?? Today wasn’t a great experience even though our hairdresser was doing the best she could alone.

Noticed the comb that was being used to brush my sons hair was very dirty, not very happy with that

Overall the experience was positive. It was our son's first haircut and Reyna did everything to try to calm a hystericaltwo year old. We did have a few negatives: Reyna did not ask how we wanted the haircut to be and just started to cut, so as a result the top is a little shorter than we wanted. Hair was left all over my son's face and front of his neck. The back was cleared just fine, but the front was not. The certificate is printed on plain printer paper, when my daughter got hers, it was printed on glossy paper. This change makes it seem way less important and an experience that is marketed as a big deal seems insignificant.

Could be better about sticking to appointment times and be ready when opening time. Also, understand you are working with toddlers who may not sit completely still.
