We made an appointment but we weren’t seen until 15 mins later. It was busy and even though it was only 15 mins with a 1 yr old it seems like forever. We were excited about our first trip to cookie Cutters because it was our sons first haircut. There was very little conversation, no explanation, and we could barely hear her tell us the seat was ready for him. I guess we just expected excitement and a cool experience. Someone else had an offer of a certificate and a photo of their son and when we inquired about it she stated that the camera doesn’t always work and we shouldn’t bother with it. This was our sons first haircut. I was a little irritated from the lack of engagement that we didn’t push the issue. We were able to capture our own photos and video. The set up was nice and I’m sure others have had good experiences. We will try someone else or somewhere else when it comes time. It was possible that she just had a bad day...

We arrived super early so sat in the waiting area awhile and the two stylist were lovely. They chatted with my daughter and I and when they had an opening they fit us in early. My daughter only wanted "the dead ends cut off" but I told the stylist 2 inches. I left the area that is for "guests only not parents" and went and sat down but I saw a clump of hair on the floor and got up and went over and she had cut about 5-6 inches off. It was devastating to my daughter because she is trying to grow it out to her bottom, plus my daughter thought I did something 'tricky' by getting the stylist to cut more off. My daughter was worried that she would hurt the stylist feelings so she kept saying it was okay. The stylist was very kind...that was not the issue at all. When we were walking out I looked at my daughter's hair and said to the other stylist who was checking us out that it looked like her hair was cut crooked...that stylist had my daughter sit back down and she fixed it, having to take off quite a bit, not in length but in depth (Hard to explain but the hair closest to my daughters head was longer than the hair closest to me, even though we just wanted a straight cut across. Though my daughter did not say anything to them...I have heard about how much she hates her hair multiple times a day...the last time was this AM as she was getting ready. I debated on if I should fill this out because like I said both stylist were very kind and friendly and we liked both of them but was VERY disappointed in her hair cut. So maybe someone needs to re-educate the first stylist (Paula). And the second stylist is the reason we would come back.

This location is always very dirty. Hair and dust everywhere. The kids seats are not even brushed off between clients.

I trusted this girl to cut my son's hair and she accidentally nicked his earlobe. He's on the spectrum so he was crying for a few days after his haircut.

The front is completely uneven. I asked for short in the back and longer on top and doesn’t look the way I asked. I know it’s hard to cut a toddlers hair but this women wasn’t really child focused. The first time we went here the woman was so nice and it’s such a great job, the last two times we’ve went I’ve been disappointed.
