The salon was recommended to me by a friend. I brought my teenage daughter for a cut and left with a “blunt” cut. It was recommended by the stylist that my daughter not get any layers but that she would “even/thin” out the hair. I took her at her word and to my dismay her hair looks terrible. I spent over $40 for a cut I could have gotten at super cuts.

Stylist didn’t introduce himself and was hella quick with my cut. He did an okay job but I think it would’ve been better had he slowed down. He was a bit on the quieter side, but tried to make small talk.

This salon is a newly emerged gem in our experience. Frustrated at how expensive our previous salon had become, we searched on Google and found Salon Joa! We are very happy with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, the quality and value of the hair cut, shampoo and style. My only criticism is that the nail salon uses a chemical that is quite strong and I could smell it in the waiting area (probably 30 feet away). Perhaps some better ventilation in that back area would help with that? Overall, we had a very pleasant experience at Salon Joa and will definitely come back and recommend to friends. :)
