I’m not your typical salon client. I don’t get my hair cut nearly enough and rarely do anything with this mane so I often find salons intimidating. This wasn’t the case during my first visit. My initial thought was, “wow this place it’s really nice” and had that moment of panic that I was out of place. That panic faded quickly as I was checked in and started my salon adventure. I felt welcomed and at ease. I was the last cut of the day and my stylist took her time, asked questions, made suggestions that fit my lifestyle, and overall made it a really awesome experience. I was then blown away by the price I paid. It felt like an incredible deal vs some very quick cuts I’ve had at chains prior. I’ll definitely be coming back. Likely not often enough, but I’m thankful to have found a place I want to keep coming back to.

I haven’t had layers in my hair for over 10 years and I was very nervous to get them again I asked who would be the best stylist to give me soft blended layers and Marina was recommended and I am so glad she was. She was amazing She listened to my needs and gave me exactly what I asked for.

This was my first salon experience since I moved to Colorado this past fall, and I'm extremely pleased with the service and quality of balayage and cut that I received! Marina Shacklette was personable, knowledgeable, and professional. She obviously has expertise in her field and a love for what she does. I particularly enjoyed the consult when I arrived, and the results look great! I look forward to returning for my next appointment. Thank you, Salon Joa!
