Salon Joa had a fantastic online booking system that made scheduling my appointment a breeze. They had automated reminders via text and email, so I have no concerns that I'll ever miss an appointment going forward. I was able to specify a stylist when scheduling my visit, choose male/female, or designate "anyone." As I had never been to Salon Joa, I chose "anyone" for my women's haircut. I had the good fortune of being scheduled with Mel. I've got thick, long, curly hair and she was a PRO. She took time to ask what I wanted, what I liked/wanted to avoid, and then explained her step by step strategy of how she'd cut my hair. I have never had a stylist go into that level of detail, and I am so happy she did. She was clearly very experienced and I knew I was in the best hands. On top of that, she was hilarious, a great conversationalist, and just a warm personality to be around. She spent considerable time on my cut and style (even as/after the salon was closing) and gave me the impression that she was a perfectionist regardless of the hour. It was an overall fantastic experience.

I just moved to Denver and went onto Yelp to try and search for a salon. All of the reviews were so great for this place so I had to try it out. It was super affordable and the service was on point. I just got a cut but Felicia was great and I am definitely coming back for a color in May. Thank you!

Right when I walked in the salon looked so fancy and clean. For the price I paid... I was highly satisfied. The environment is like no other. The staff is so friendly and makes you feel at home. From now on.... this is the only salon I will be going to! :)

Cassie was excellent. She took the time to find out what my goal was in coming and tailored the experience to fit my needs. The manicure looks great and is lasting beautifully!
